its me!
heyyy!!
sooo i have news on my civic.
it needs a new oil pan gasket. which isnt the problem...i think??
and my breaks are making noises when i stop.
which means what?? i'm not that sure.
but lately i have been noticing a bad smell from my car.
i used to think it was my tires rubbing along my wheel well, but i raised my car enough so that it doesnt rub.
so i'm not sure what this smell is.
i have no idea because when i pop the hood i cant smell anything. its only when i get out of my car? any idea's?

What kind of noise? Is it a squeak just at the end of the stop, or is it a screeching noise that occurs any time you press the brakes?

probably means you need new brake pads,
changing the oil pan gasket isnt a hard job just drain oil and drop exhaust manifold.
when you drive your car for a little bit and get out what kind of smell is it?

its not a sqeek, its not even high pitched,
its this low rumble type noise when i come to a stop.
it doesnt make it when i am driving normaly, just when i stop completly
an other noise i hear when the car is dead stopped and when i am driving, when i turn it, i here this rubbing almost, i know its not my tires rubbing, i can here it deeper in the car,
the smell almost smells like a burnt clutch, but not really, its soo wierd i have never smelt anything like it before, thats why i'm so confused

does it pull to a certain direction?
could have a bad wheel bearing...
drive the car for a little bit then very carefully (can be very hot) touch each rim and see if there is a big difference in temp.

and how should i check them?
edti: i had c/v boot problems in my integra...and this isnt anything like it, i try'd to record a video of it but you cant here it, i was in the drive through today and when i would turn the wheel i would here it, with out my car even rolling.
