Well on my trip to my local junk yard I came across a 1997 civic 4dr well it had a vtec (I snagged the head already but that is not what im wondering about......

So well I took a look inside and low and behold the whole c/c was there besides the pocket area in the front and the rear parts cover, well i also snagged that and tested it on a 2dr ex '94 that was there and it seems to fit pretty well however you would most likely need to change up a few things and make a custom under panel or so.....well here is my question anyone else out there besides me think of using this c/c in a 92-95 civic instead of that ugly looking c/c that starts whereever.

I know they make JDM peices that are pretty much like that of the '97 for the front and they fit good but i dont have the 100.00 to spend on it .

I would just like to know if anyone ever had that thought come across maybe you actually did it let me know and if you have pics that would be well awsome instead of me wasting time over thinking things like i always do...

oh yes another thing you can make anything fit into any car just you might need to fabricate it to make it fit

It means centerconsole, and I know exactly what he's talking about. Using one of the double din 6th gen center consoles in a 5th gen. It's basically a super cheap way of getting a "JDM" center console, but without the $175+ price tag.

 

Correct this is pretty much what i am going for ....anyone else think of this ?, and is it cheap to get some stuff for the center console(c/c) such as well the front parts pockets? and the lid for the rear part of the center console? since the one I found had those parts stripped off of it. and yes i also have to agree it is a super way of getting a "JDM" c/c since i can probaly get this c/c for just under 15$$ ....
