Default k20 type r engine

i have been wondering what kind of lifespan does this engine have? Most honda's can go forever but i kinda got the impression that the type r engine doesnt last quite so long before it gives out.

just completely using theory, but i've heard of Honda engines going 300K - 400K if taken good care of, and i think one even went for a million lol but idk why they'd build a Type-R engine that is weaker than a little D series or someting....

a type r motor is a high revving high compression motor so its going to be harder on the rods/rings seals and other components, ive heard the 06 up si's even use oil between oil changes
