Hello everyone, as its probably obvious by the thread's subject, I have a 2003 Civic LX. I just bought it a few weeks ago and one of the little picky things I don't like about it is that there is no keyless entry (I dont care about the alarm, just the unlock/lock feature). My friend works with cars alot and he said to me that a 2003 LX should already have the feature built in, all you need is a keyless remote and a honda dealership worker to configure it.

I'd figure out myself but unfortunatly I do not have a manual to find out, but in a google search I do see 2003 Civic LX's with keyless entry under features on multiple car-selling sites. Does anyone know what it would take to get a unlock/lock keyless entry to work with my car? Thanks a bunch.

 

Hmmmm... I have an 04 LX and it's got it... I'll at least respond to this post so you dont think it is being overlooked.

I just need to know wether or not my car already has the feature in it and I just dont have the remote or not. But if I end up getting it that guide will help, so thank you. But I dont plan on getting it if I need to install everything, I only plan on buying the remote if the car already has the keyless receiver in it
