Default Largest engine in 95 honda civic dx

Ok, I am trying to install a new engine into my 1995 Honda Civic dx (the engine I currently have in there is constantly giving me problems and runs very slow).

If I'm going to replace it, I want to replace it with the largest, fastest engine that I can fit in there (even if it means I have to change everything to fit it in there). I have not baught an engine yet because I don't know what engine I can fit in there.

My machanic says I can make it faster by adding twin turbochargers and stuff. But I want the largest, fastest engine possible to start with. And then I will add the turbochargers.

Anyone know how big of an engine I can fit in there? Please help! No machanic seems to know around here. [>:]

The biggest honda engine is an h22. Just to let you know, there is a spell check feature on the forum. It is the ABC with the check mark next to it, right under the smileys.

Thanks for the reply.

Sorry about the misspelled words. Was at work so I was trying to hurry.

Does addiction know about this spell check feature? lol jk addiction (if you even see this)

anyway, what about acura engines? They're the same thing as a honda engine... you could do a K24 swap (or the popular K24 block/ K20 head frankenstein swap), but I can't imagine the cost of one of those (most people can't afford a simple k20 swap)

But, as far as true honda engines go, I believe the h22 is the biggest one you'll find. They're more difficult to swap to than, say, a b-series, but who can argue with 156 ft/lbs of torque in a li'l civic?
