Default Looking to buy a 2014 Civic Sedan EXL buttt???

So I am ready to buy the 2014 civic sedan with the cvt or the 2014/15 toyota corolla premium which means loaded with cvt.

I like both, leaning towards the civic.

My only concern is this...... I drive a jeep that is up higher off the ground compared to the civic. I'm worried I am going to get tired off climbing up and out of the car versus sliding down from the seat in my jeep.

I used to own a civic and I had 200K on it when I traded it in. That car/hatchback was very reliable and wish I would have never gotten rid of it.

My jeep, I think I have put $4000 in repairs into it over 14 years. Not sure I spent more than $300 on the old civic in the same time frame.

Ok your thoughts and comments.

Thanks

Rob

Looking to buy 1 year from now!

You wish you would have never sold it. Only $300 in repairs in 14 years. 200,000 miles.

Go buy another Civic!

Both Honda and Toyota make great cars but I think the Civic is more exciting than the Corolla.

I have a 2010 LX sedan and it is a sweet car. I think it looks much better than the current generation.

I really wish I would have kept it, and worked on it. Now that I am smarter and better with mechanics......I could have kept it at the end of driveway as a backup vehicle. I could have upgraded it and really had fun with it.

So I'm torn between the civic exl , the 2012-2015 camry xse or xle, or the corolla premium S. all used a few years old.

How will the leather hold up in that civic sedan? Will it crack on tear on the sides like my jeep is doing? Keep in mind my jeep has 223K on it now.

The leather will definitely not hold up as well as cloth but I'm sure it will last a long time if you are easy on them.

My parents have an 04 CRV EXL and the leather is still in decent shape considering they dont care for it and have two dogs climbing all over it all the time. It is warn out but not cracked.

My opinion: Honda Interior > Toyota or Jeep Interior
