I am looking to start a lil project, just wondering what is the most reliable base to start a build on and cheapest to upgrade.
any input will be greatley appreciated.

if so an ef get Si only dpfi sucks *** i no.
eg hatchs are nice Si only again might aswell get a vtec. u can fit omost any engine swap clean in them to
Ek coupes are niice model 99-00 ex or si trust i have a si u wont be let down
when it comes to modes egs n eks are the cheapest n funnest to play with

 

If I was to get another Civic as a project car I would go with an EG hatch. They have alot going for them. 1 OBD1 easy for tuning 2 light little car with a good wheel base 3 a B16 B18 or B20 will swap in very easily. If ypu can find one a Del Sol Vtec is a great civic already has a B16 and is OBD1. Or a CRX and swap a B16 from a JDM CRX SiR. The CRX is even lighter than the hatches but it is OBD0. This is not really much of a draw though as you can still tune with OBD0.
