Default Lx for Cx?!?

I have a 93 4dr lx andwas looking to tradefor a hatch. I found one but it is a cx model. I have done alot of research. I know the power and weight differences but was wondering if someone would know which one would be quicker stock? My lx hasabout 30horsepower but the cx weights about 200 pounds less. Would it be a good trade, for me?Sorry if put post in wrong forum. Any help would be great.
Thanks

cx doesnt have power doors or windows and is the base model civic. Im pretty sure the lx would be just a little bit faster than the cx. Cx is made to save as much gas as possible.

The 8 valve engine in the CX is a real dog, and intakes, etc. don't help it any. If you're after power you would have to swap out the engine, or maybe mini-me it.

if the body of the hatch is in decent shape, i would definitly do the trade then swap a b18c in there, more power then alot of cars out there right out the box
