So I was talking to my dad tonight and it turns out that he is thinking about purchasing another car, to use as a spare. The one we have been looking at real closely is a 95' Red 2-door EX civic 5-spd. It has 148K on it and it appears to be very well taken care of. It has a price tag of 3,200$ I was thinking this sounds like a good deal, the car is in very good condition. Chances are after he buys it he will give me a little bit of cash to add some visual and performance ****e to it. I think it would be awesome to have a second civic to play with. I was thinking that if he did buy it this summer maybe I would try to buy it from him, then I would have a project car. But anywho what do you all think? Good deal or not?

 

thats not a bad price i guess. just make sure u have everything inspected and w/e just to be safe. 95's are great project cars...i say go for it.

i loved my 95 ex, i think the price is fair for a rare 5spd ex. if the body is good jump on it

 

What motor would a 95 ex have in it?

 

i believe it is the d16z6 but i know its sohc vtec, i have a 94 ex but i have a jdm b16a

 

Okay so whats the biggest differences in the d16z6 and the d16y8 that is what my civic is rocking.

 

im pretty sure that the y8 in non vtec and the z6 is the vtec
