Default Mobil-1 0/30w vs 5/30w question

I have a 08 Honda lx sedan. I will be making the switch to sythentic shortly (I'm at 6800 miles). The manual calls for 5/30w. Local Walmart has 5/30 and 0/30w mobil-1. 0/30 states better fuel econmy and same protection, just thinner.

I've used M-1 for years, but I'm curious about going to a lighter oil (The better fuel economy is the reason for teh choice). If I switched to the 0/30, do I rest voiding my warranty? Also is this a wise choice to make?

Thanks.

Using a different oil weight SHOULDNT void your warrenty...being summer i run a thinner weight than i do in the winter...i dont really see a problem with it...but im no expert..
