It seems that my windows have decided to rise up agianst me. Now the driver side window doesn't want to even roll down. I can hear the window motor running like it wants to make window go up and down. But the window just doesn't want to move. If anyone had heard of this please let me know what is going on and why my windows hate me?

I haven't had this happen in my civic yet, though i did have some trouble with alignment. That was due to the window coming off the rail. In my old 626 the same thing happened, the gear on the motor and grinded down and couldn't catch the mechanism that puts the window up and down, if you can probably take it to someone mechanically minded and pull the door cover off and see if you can find the problem.

 

i had the same type of problem with mine a month or so ago except my window would go down except for like an inch at the end. i took it in the shop, they said it was an alignment problem, the window popped out of the track. they fixed it up in no time
