Default My "93" really a 93???

So i was reading some stuff about my supposedly 1993 EX coupe and found out that the six speaker setup is only found in 94 and 95 EX coupes...

Weird, because I definitely have 6 speakers, definitely have a coupe, and definitely have an EX...is this 1993 car I was sold really a 1994? 95?

Any other way I can tell, easily?

The vin number should be able to tell you i think. And also the title should be the correct year

Yeah yeah, all that stuff says 1993, but I was just reading this stuff and was like "Wtf?!"

And this isn't the first time I've seen something weird about my car's stereo (specifically rear speakers).
It probably is just a mistake with the author of what I was reading

Maybe the person bought those speakers from a newer civic and installed them? or maybe aftermarket components?

Nah, the problem...or at least issue, was that the advertised 5.25" fit in the rear speakers don't REALLY fit.

After some research, I found that the stock 5.25" speakers in 5th gen EX coupes (maybe other models too, dunno) aren't actually true 5.25".
The speaker itself is 5.25" sized, but there is so much plastic mounting crap around it that it covers a hole that can easily fit a 6.5" (which I had put in there a while ago).
It was a mixture of Circuit City/Best Buy TERRIBLE info, and just lack of research.
