Default My heat..

Stopped working.

I know its not the fan cause.. well it still blows.

I'm very worried because its like 10 degrees out with the windchill in Maryland and I want to get this fixed as soon as possible.

Please any ideas?

P.S. it starts to get warm every once and awhile but it usually goes back to cold very quickly and I'm almost positive its not my radiator fluids because my brother made sure all my fluids were good a week ago.

Dose the heat gauge in your car indicate heat or dose it just sit at cold?

If your gauge is not showing anything is is probably your thermostat.

recheck your antifreese because even if the level is high enough it could still be that if there is too much water in the mixture it wont circulate

Make sure to check the coolant level not only in the reservoir but also in the radiator when the engine is cold. You also may need to bleed the cooling system of possible trapped air.

As someone has already asked, does the dash temperature gauge remain at a cold reading even after the engine has clearly reached operating temperature?
