Default Need help

I have a 97 ex d16y8 automatic, I wanted to know if a 5 speed exhaust will work on my car, all I can find is a 5 speed exhaust for sale

It's the same. There are only two versions of the exhaust system, a DX or LX has the catalytic converter built into the manifold and an EX has a more conventional manifold with separate cat underneath the car. (But, EX parts will bolt onto a DX if you are replacing the whole system starting from the engine.) The type of transmission doesn't matter.
