i have a 96 honda civic dx 1.6 non vtec 5 speed, im having issues when driving and revving the car its almost like it is backfiring or misfiring, the car sputters and the check engine light flickers super fast when this issue occurs, i tried to pull stored codes but no codes were stored in this instance, i have no idea what to do, ive been told its a vacuum leak but it doesnt have one already checked, and as far as im concered its getting fuel as well. timing is on point as well. you can also here the ecu clicking when the car acts up

 

Check wiring for cracked insulation, or compromised ground.
