Hey I am a bit confused about the projector hids and such. Will all HID bulbs work well with ALL projectors? DO all projectors work well with HID or are some projectors OEM and made for halogen bulbs? And also what is this about LED? Any projector headlight I buy for my civic will work with HID? or no? When purchasing projector headlights do I have to worry about anything like what can fit in the sockets like H1 bulbs or H4's? If it can only fit H4's can't I just buy H4's? I heard someone complaining aobut how it can only fit H1 bulbs? Why not buy H1 bulbs then? Thanks a bundo if anyone can answer all of this.

 

If you want HID's on your civic, do it the right way and retrofit.

 

isn't that what retrofitting means? getting projectors and installing the hid kit onto it?

 

retrofit is getting projectors off a car equipped with hid lights, then making them fit on your headlights (very expensive) ebay projectors are ok but when you use hid they glare a lot. Led lights are just the little lights above the headlight that light up blue or white. And yes the bulb size matters so choose the projector light firt, then buy the hid kit after you know the bulb size

 

Retrofitting is when you put oem projectors in your stock headlights. itll cost you some money, but its definitely worth it for you and other drivers. plus, the cutoff line looks really cool at night

 

what projectors do you guys prefer for retrofiting. What kind of oem projectors work best.
