In the market for some wheels and tires. Found the rims I want.

I know little about tire brands. Are Kuhmo tires good.

Not interested in racing, just need somethinng to ride on.

Kuhmo are good/decent. You could also check out Falken, Toyo, Nichi. All good brands.

Yea, what Chim said, Kuhmo is a real bang for the buck, I used to run Kuhmo Supras on my 240sx and burned them up left and right because they were so damn cheap and did a good job at that too.

 

from were you are buying them, see if you can get a wheel/tire package..you can get great deals like this and they already come mounted and balanced

 

Personally, I vouch for Toyo tires. I have a set of Toyo Proxes TPT on my Taurus GL, and am throwing a set of Toyo tires on my SHO next year. I love the handling (wet or dry), they never failed me in the snow last year, and kept grip through the road course I took my Taurus on this past summer.
