Wondering which ebay bars you guys are getting that are good quality? There are so many on there, don't want to buy complete junk...

By the way, I'm only interested in a front strut bar b/c I really need my trunk - I dont *think* correct me if I'm wrong, I would be able to shove bikes and snowboards in the back after a rear strut bar install, correct? Doesnt look like it...

thanks

I'm going to try to install mine in the trunk so that it can be quickly removed. I may have to repace hardware or something. we'll see.

Here's the same ebay bars I just bought. These are what most of us seem to like:

Good luck

Cool, thanks for the link - I guess you could use wing nuts??? to hold on the rear one. But I don't know how effective that would be, still a mild pain to take it out once a week. Plus, any time I go to bike or snowboard, its usually driving on the roads you would want those in! thanks

Yeah, I was thinking about some time of clamp system or wing nuts. I may just wing nut the bar itself instead of the entire thing coming off. that's two wing nuts instead of one.

take the boots off that board and you can get it in. I dunno about the bike. maybe if you took off both wheels. remember, though, you still have the other three bars that are adding to your fun of driving. think more positively!!!

they fit all models of civic (as far as I know) in that year range. the HX is the same as an EX, except for the engine and a few other minor details (correct ME if I'm wrong). That set is $$$$

97_ex: Having built/rebuilt/installed/sold many a home sub-woof, I would suggest a minimum size of 12" for your car sub. You will get a lot more sound out of it (it will move a lot more air), and you won't need as large of an amp to power it. A 10" sub seems to disapoint a lot of people when used in a car.A 10" (or smaller) is fine if you don't wish to crank it up, as in a home theatre, but in a car it seems that size matters.

i got two 12" subs in there now... i don't use them that much (loud) thats why i'm gonna go with a good 10". there isn't alot of room for me to build a box, using the spare tire area. i might just go with one 12" in the floor, haven't made final decisions yet.
