I would go with one 12". Should be plenty loud (short of competion level, of course) and should fit in the area mentioned. Many 12's fit in a 1cu' box fine, and will go down to 30Hz. Stereo sub is pretty much an oxymoron in a car trunk anyway.

 

looks pretty good...and about subs, go with one 12. ( alpine type RRRR all the way!!! ) with the v12 amp. oh yea

 

i'm gonna have to sell my insignia setup first... i hate to, because i've only had the whole system for 2-3 months! ever seen the insignia subs??? they effn' rock!

 

that thign sick, i've never seen a strut bar like that but it makes alot of sense. How does it mount to the firewall?

there are bolt holes in the firewall that it bolts too.

There is debate over solid piece units being stronger and having less flex than ones with the adjustable joints/hem joints...... I personally say do what you feel best since anything will be stonger over nothing at all....

 

I just orderd that 4pc strut bar set too.... I went to that link you had "that guy" on ebay, and I just had to get em. I've seen them around $100, But $64 w/insurance! I gotta try em.
