I am About to buy a civic but cant decide on what year to get, i would like input on what year is the best for modding for both n/a and turbo. consider weight, parts, easily modded, and price. Thanks for the input, i couldnt find it in any of my searches.

i like the looks of the ek civic (96-00)
99-00 civic si would be your best bet!
but a lightweight car would be a hatch.
good luck!

I would say an eg hatch. As long as you plan on swapping. If you dont plan on swapping i would get a 99-00 SI.

If your looking to Boost a D series, Go EG ( 92'-95') cause they have a OBD1 ECU which is chippable.
If you wanna go EK, thats fine too for N/a. (both can be changed to OBD1 or 11
