Question new CIVIC badge logo on trunk

My old Civic badge logo on the right side of the trunk fell off. It was a capital "C" with cursive. I don't even know if that's how it came from the factory since I bought from a private party who did extra work on the car.

So, I bought a new badge logo off Ebay for $9. One problem. I can't get all the old adhesive off the trunk. I tried the Windex w/ ammonia, which I've used to razor blade off decals. And I tried the orange Goo Gone, but maybe I'm not letting it sit long enough. Does anyone know of any ideas or other chemicals I should/could use to get the adhesive off before I put on the badge logo?

Thanks!
