new engine

i just put a new motor in my 94 civic. same d15b7. i have compression~160-170 i have fuel to the fuel rail and i have spark in all spark plugs. anyone have any ideas on what else it could be?

no the check engine light goes off when the fuel pump shuts off.it will turn over it just wont run.

sounds like you might have an electrical issue

or, if the D15b7's are like the Y7 engines:

you might have the TPS and MAP sensor connectors mixed up, cuz i know on my engine they are the same.
