I live here in California...and YES my car is an SI DOHC V-tec 1.6 liter. These cars where only manufacture from 1999-2000..

Dude, why would I ask you 'civic Si 00'? The guy who started this thread said he was looking at a 1.4L hatch and a 1.6L Si, civic models vary by country (In canada the "Si" is an american EX for example) so for all we know both the cars he's looking at could be SOHC...

hello im from the UK the car i looked at today the price was a bit 2 steep £3000,but i have seen another coupe which is a 1.6 sport on a 2000 model, is this a v-tec model and can anyone tell me the difference in the 1.6lsi an the sport, my head is all over the place tryin to find the right one lol. cheers

I'm not really sure since I live in the US, but you should take a look under the hood to see if they are SOHC or DOHC engines. If you aren't sure, take some pictures for us, or find some on the web of what you're looking at.

they are sohc, had a look at the car and its amazing but (civic coupe 1.6lsi),i want to look at the 1.6 sport now as its newer but the same price think i mite go tomoz, ill keep in touch an let yas no how i gettin on. cheers

The si is pretty sick looking thats what i would get. i am a fan of coupes. i don't really like civic hatchbacks even though they can be fast

hey ppl am back i finally bought the coupe took me a while to find a great one an this is superb, 99 civic coupe 1.6Lsi Se only covered 38000 miles an drives brilliantand looks the part!!!, just wondering if anyone could tell me the colour name an codeof the car its a sort of blue purple??, thx for the advise as this really made me decide to get one..

Looks good, it might be Electron Blue Pearl, there should be a paint code inside the drivers side door.
