hey everyone im new to the forum .....thanks for having me....even though i am a mustang man through and through my girlfriend has a stock 05 civic automatic special edition and i was thinking about putting a k&N filter in her car would she be able to tell a difference or is it not worth it without other mods..


also i dont want to go with an exhaust system just personal preference any tunes or nice mods feel free to throw them in

It's not going to make it worse, if that's what you're worried about.
You will see slight improvements, however, don't be looking for the 10-15hp gains that some people say they get or the massive gains in mpg.
You'll see slight improvement depending on how you are with the gas pedal.

Yeah you will let the engine breathe better, but its not gonna be huge gain ( maybe more throttle happy)

you won't notice a huge difference to the MPG or horsepower with the K&N drop in filter.But a very slight difference to the MPG. The side that's worth buying the K&N is it is reusable. you just need to clean and oil and your ready to drop it in your car.

I'd go ahead and add the filter, it will sound different and get a bit better throttle response. Also look into suspension upgrades so it will turn better and look better at the same time.
