Default obd0 and obd1 whats the difference?

as some of you know i bought my car with a JRSC already on it, MSD ignition, MSD boost retard and all the bolt ons. the guy i bought it from said that he wanted to do an obd0 to obd1 conversion. what are the benefits and sacrifices to doing this for this particular setup in my car? in case you dont know its an EF hatch. thanks guys.

Not sure, but my guess would be that the answer is in the engine section of the forum. Did you try searching?

why would you need to convert to obdI, that means you'll be adding sensors, changing ecu, converting your wiring, you would have more control over what codes you come across, but you won't see any performance gains unless you can somehow fine tune your setup further with the jrsc.

Your comments to cyberx32 seem an over reaction. He was trying to help you not insult you.

I didn't read any sarcasm into cyberx32's reply, just a helpful suggestion to try a search. Many people forget to do this, including myself. From reading many other cyberx32 responses on the forum, he tends to be pretty courteous. Anyway, hopefully you have or will find an answer to your question.
