Hey guys,
I was looking around for an ignition coil (for my 94 civic), and stumbled upon one made from TEC that is half the price of the one on the majestic honda site. Does anyone know which brand honda uses for its OEM? Which one should I grab?

Mine was a TEC, if I recall. It was on a 2000 Civic.

 

TEC is an OEM brand. They made the whole distributor. Two slightly different types of distributors were fitted, TEC or Mitsubishi. I don't know if a TEC coil will fit in a Mitisubishi distributor. If your cap is OEM it will either say "TEC" on it or have the round Mitsubishi logo.
