old Civic; Rebuild, Scrap/junk or PartOut
Hey,
I've got two '83 civics... Engine #1 Seized. Engine #2 Not running. With out tearing into this project how much would be your guesses at costs to repair? I'll be doing it myself but am unsure about timeline. Any thoughts would be nice...

Is there any market for parts off cars this OLD?
BOth are way behind on tabs so parting out or junking is a tempting option...
If I do part them out... where should I post and are the any sites for price reference?
Thanks!

well IMO just look at the underbody and if it is mostly rust free underneith then sell the cars as-is on craigslist or ebay...
i know that older hondas have a serious rust issue along with a vacume line nightmare if not EFI.... i had 2 old crxs 86 and 84, the 84 was so rusted out you could almost move it like the flinstones it was so badly rusted out!
if the body is rusted but the rest of the car has good parts then id part it out.. or if the interior or body panels arent so good id scrap the whole car not wort the hassle
