Default Opinion on Civic I'm thinking of buying?

It's a 2002 Civic, silver, 116k miles, drove it and it drives great, looks great inside and out, EX 2D Coupe, no warrenty. They are asking $5595, Here's the ad:

I don't really like that gen of civics but I think thats a pretty decent deal, I payed about 300 less for a 99 DX in worse condition soo I'd prolly pick it up

whats the blue book value for it?
and most people dont like this gen because the D17 is hard to mod and the only motors you can swap in is k series
but if your not going for engine mods i think they look good and would get it if it was a good deal(depending on the kbb value)

KBB suggested retail value for excellent condition is $8465. One thing I did notice is that the car has been on the market for almost three months, is this something to worry about? The dealership is located on a fairly busy street. I carfaxed it and it came up clean, and one previous owner.

Well, on their website they say "We specialize in fine used vehicles". And when I first pulled up to the dealership, I thought it was a new car dealership. The place looks professional and clean, and I've been to a good amount of dealerships.

That generation does have a bit higher failure rate of automatic transmissions, so you might get it taken to a mechanic.

see if you can get a trusted mechanic to take a look at it
if he ok's it i think you should get it

and dont forget to hustle him a little bit offer 4,500 they will go down on price. just work with him.
