hey guys just bought this grille off ebay... and i need to paint the outside of it...i want to keep the inside black mesh but i want to paint the outside red like my civic

i read the painting parts DIY if there is any difference to painting this please let me know

also should i get matched paint to my car or will a can of red duplicolor be a close enough match? how long should i let it sit after painting before i install

Depends upon how good a job you want to do. Will you need to apply a primer? Base coat? Clear coat? There are lots of OEM paints available online in spray cans. For example: www.expresspaint.com is a good one. If you GOOGLE "OEM Touch-up Paint" you'll find a bunch.
