Need help painting my grille...
I'm finally getting around to painting my Type-R grille. I've had all the supplies for a while now, but i've been waaay too busy to get around to painting it.
When i sand, do i start with the highest grit paper? or the lowest grit?
how many coats of primer, paint and clear coat should i use?

I would lightly sand with a mid range grit, maybe 300ish, then clean it off, mask off the mesh, put 2 coats primer, 2 coats of base, and 3 coats of clear.
Leave the mesh alone until you're done with the base coat, then take the masking tape off it and clear coat the mesh too.

yeah, i realized that after i asked the question.. lol. soo...
its painted. but i kinda screwed it up. i couldnt find any Masking tape around my house, and i didnt feel like driving to the store(closest one is about 15min each way).
sooo i used duct tape.
didnt turn out so good.. the sticky stuff on the back turned into goo and it wont come off of the grille.
it looks fine from far away, but it looks like **** up close.
It hardened over night, so i think i'm just gonna paint over it with a touch-up pen or something.
All in all, im satisfied. This was my first time painting anything... i'm just glad it matches.
