I see rolling shells go for $200 or less here with no rust. Gutted, no engine, but no rust.

You could swap all the interior stuff yourself. Anyone can do that. All the under hood stuff would be more difficult, but worth it. There's nothing like having a dependable car that's paid off.

 

Yeah, a rolling chassis in IMMACULATE condition would be at the most $500, then you can turn around and scrap your shell or sell it to someone who is willing to fix the rust and make money back.
