you mean a 2000 GTS Celica? They are nice cars but a bit over priced. The GTS is pretty expensive and the GT is just crap (drum brakes for godsake!). But, Toyota is a quality car so it may work out in the end.

I bought my car in 99 and my top choices were VW Golf, Subaru 2.5 RS coupe, and SiR. I went for the SiR. Partly because it was the cheapest of the 3. When I bought my car, the new shape celicas hadn't even come out yet.

I want an evo pretty bad. I went to get new struts for my buick. (that is car is heavy and seems to go through em quick like) and There were two sti's at a small lil shop. One had a blown engine and one was getting some new guts. That led me away form the sti, that and the ugly body (go ahead flame away) When i see the evo's role up there shine is so glossy and they just sit so nice. I know they only have like 280 hp but they still can keep up with the sti (especially in 0-60 becausae the sti has a close ratio and has to shift to third for it.) and the handling is better

 

i think that he might have already made his choice on what car to buy, considering this is from november, but i would take an sti

 

go with the civic, you'll be glad you did.
