WOW, if this is the price after tax, I would say it is Vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaary good.

That Seems high. I just bought an 08 EXL with Navi and XM Fully loaded car with Heated Leather seats and paid 20,997.00 in Connecticut. Here is a link to Manchecter Honda www.manchesterhonda.com they have bottom line prices. Do your home work on your trade, because thats where they can increse their profit. I wanted a silver 08 5 speed manual with navi and xm radio in a EXL model it was very hard to find and I still got it for that price. I bought it at Excecitive Honda in Wallingford, CT they beat the other stores price by 300.00 and gave me what I wanted on my trade. Good Luck

$18,335 plus 8.9% plus .3% would be $20,022. $300 for plates? I thought Illinois sucked. Looks like they are charging you $300-$400 over invoice depending on if they are giving mats or some other stuff. That is a good deal. Let us know if you are able to beat it. Keep in mind that it might be worth a little extra $$ if the dealer is close to your home or work and if they have a good service dept. Its not guaranteed, but dealerships sometimes take a little better care of customers when it comes warranty/not warranty stuff if you bought from them.

Oh one other thing. Some friends have worked free oil changes and stuff into the deal if the dealer would not budge on price. Just another angle to work...

Your correct. Remember you only pay the sales tax on the diferance. They wanted to give me 12,000 for my trade. I was going to pay tax on the differance 11000. about 600.00 vs. 1380.00 on the full price a differance of 780.00 so carmax would have to pay you at least 12780.00 to break even. If your trading a Honda usally the dealer will pay you more. Just some thought. Tony
