Default Quick Question

I have a quick question, im thinking about getting a 2008 Civic LX, it is an automatic.... here comes the dumb question. Would it be super dumb or not if i add performance parts to it or not? IM thinking about adding new intake/exhaust manifold but i dont know if it would be worth it since its a automatic.

Thoughts?

its all up to you, In My Opinion, i wouldnt do it to an automatic. but there's alot of people that upgrade perfromance to automatic vehicles.

Well if your asking if it's dumb because it's an auto than well yes kinda because it won't be enough power to truly feel and would be a waste other than for hearing a loud exhaust and intake.

You can't feel the torque gain from an intake and header on a car with a manual transmission either

OP, my old civic was an automatic and that didn't stop me from modifying it. Just know it's going to make it negligibly faster if at all.
