you can use your y8 head on the d15 block, you will need the y8 timing belt. everything will bolt up and you can use your y8 dizzy and not need to worry about any rewiring or converting also use your y8 intake manifold. sorry for not being able to answer any of your question i have been really busy lately workin on vehicles around here

its ok 94civichatchback, what i ended up doing is just do the complet swap. i decided to not wire the seccond vtec. one is green and the other is red. so i just took the wire from the vtec harnes and put it in the harness of my y8. if that makes sense. so right now there is a hanging wire of the first vtec.
it runs! this was the longest day ever. and pretty rediculous. i broke my radiator! and had to spend an other 80 i didnt want too. but its ok. i used my y8 intake mani. just cuz i heard they were better, but i couldnt really see a difference. its late so tomorrow i am going to put oil in the tranny. and burp it

the d15b 3stage is a direct jdm replacement for the y8 ..dizzys are the same. as for the intake manifold. you should not have a problem running your p2p also jus it will be working like your y8 did u will not the econ part just straight 16v to vtec at 5500rpms.
finding the p2j is a mission n wish you luck but the motor will run so much better n u'd save so much gas.

yea..it fit perfectly. its wierd. i didnt think it would.
they guy who i was helping works with toyotas so he doesnt know much about honda engines. and he said it would be better, its running. tomorrow i need to burp it. and then i am getting the ignition timing set.

i guess i should have started build thred...idk, maybe once i have enough money for a b series. who knows. any one have any thing to say that i might need to know? like when i started it, it started smoking. and i dont like smoke from an engine. but my friend said its from the coolent and oil burring off after we made a mess. andddd
my exhaust sounded like it was sputtering. idk how else to word it or explain, but it wouldnt do it while revving it, only wile idling

ok good i think that was the best thing i have heard for the past month and a half. i needed some one to tell me that!! i was getting worried. and i think they company i bought it from said he had one left. for 250 and i thought he was crazy. so i didnt buy it. thinking that the ecu's were the same any ways. but again thank you! that was great to here
