can anybody here help how to get the serial no. of my car radio,without taking off at the dashboard?im having a hard time now coz its not working and its looking for a code,i hope someone can help me? thanks

Step 2 - Retrieve radio serial#
Type 1
Honda
Radio unlock procedure
[ul][*]
Press preset buttons 1 and 6 at the same time.
[*]
Turn on radio.
[*]
An 8 digit serial number will appear on display. (if stereo was locked up at the time).
[*]
NOTE: Example, If your display indicates U5122223 L1232728[*]
YOU MUST INCLUDE ALL DIGITS.[*]
There will be 8 numbers, a U and a L.[*]
Write this number down, as you will need this number for form below.[/ul]
