Actually the dealer will sublet the work to a body shop to perform the paint work and installation and it just so happens that I know the owner of that shop!! All should be good. I attached a few picsof the car if anyone is interested. Again I want to thank everyone for the input and its nice to know there are still people out there that are willing to help a total stranger!

I am in the market for a body kit if anyone has any suggestions.

do we have that shape civic over here in the UK i have never seen one.... I like that shape but dislike the newest shape civic, well especially the back.

ROFL THOES SUBS CAN BE YOUR REASON FOR WING CRACKING ROFL! hahahahahahha thoes things are huge!!! lol!!! wouldent be surprised if you windows are all cracked lol ( this is not evne being serious) DAYUM THEM SOME BIG SUBS! LOL!

 

Its possible that the subs could cause the wing to crack however, the car is tuned for sound quality (USACI) and during competition the bass is at very low level. Now of course that dosent mean that we dont turn it up from time to time.[sm=icon_rock.gif]We have only had the car on a meter twice which resulted in a 144.9 and a 144.7. Not bad for a trunk car built and tuned for SQ.I would say it was possible that the bass could have caused the 1stwing to crack but not the second. When I noticed the second wing, the carhad been at my shop prepairng it for a show. Other than tuning, the stereo was not played during that time. We noticed the cracks in the decklid after thatshowwhen we returned. The only time the stereo was turned on was for SQ competition which would not have caused that. We have a magazine photo shoot and USACI Finals to attend in the next 2 weeks and we are doing our best not to tear up the car.
