will the local electronics store install a remote start system in a manual tranny car

They'll do it if they make a neutralizer for your car. If they don't though, legally they're not supposed to because they become liable for anything that happens if you accidentally leave your car in gear or something (the tech I talked to about this told me he was drunk one night and had done that and he totally destroyed a Jetta's bumper). You probably could talk them into doing it under the table, but then you won't have any expressed warranty or anything. Good luck with it all.

They prob wont do it because installers have been sued before when it starts and does damage to other peoples property or runs over a kid. Even if the guy whos car it is in is cool and says hed never sue and he is not lying about it you have no control over who it hits or runs over.

computar alarms have the ability to be installed on the car with the manual tranny.

I also wouldnt suggest it doubly more on anything 01 and up because of the antitheft chip in the key
