Default RE: remote start

if testing for wires remeber that wires that are not + when the keay is off and then become + when the key is on and stay posotive during starting are ignition wires and wires that due the same but lose power during cranking are accessory. You need the IGN wires to be powered during remote start and ACC wired to be powerd once started.

What year is your civ and Ill tell you where the tach wire is.

i would not recommend installing the alarm with remote start yourself, you need at least a wire diagram for your car, in the shops they got the cd that has the diagrams and wires you need to touch for almost any car out there. when i installed my compustar it took the guy 4 hours to install it and was a professional.
and on my lex it took 2 guys 6 hours to install the alarm, i have 3 starter brakers controlled by the alarm now in each car you can start the car, rip the alarm brain out and start driving and after driving few feet the car is going to die, lock the doors and start screaming
