I got a 92 Civic LX(4-door), I'm trying to change out my driver side seat because it's torn & the metal support beams inside the upper portion of the seat is poking the hell outta me.
I been to the junkyard to look for replacement seats(from 5th gen civics) but no dice. And ordering OEM or even "racing seats" online are too expensive.

So I was wondering if it's possible to replace a 5th gen civic seat with other generations or even from other model cars without welding or cutting?
I have googled & all they got is "How to replace 6th & 7th generation Civic seats".
I'm also wondering if it's possible if I can take the passenger seat & put it in as a driver seat.

Also..Do 4-door civics have different front seat configuration(rails, longer seats, etc) then 2-doors do?
