Default revised: headlight problem

revised.
i have a 2001 civic vtec model (asian version), i'm having a problem w/ my low beam headlight, high beam seems to function well. i'm the 2nd owner, the 1st owner might used a higher wattage bulb w/o any conversion kit (bigger wires et.al) when he converted it to euro type model. the bulb installed right now (not busted) is 50-60watts bulb, what seems to be the problem? appreciate a little help.

Is it just one light or both? Did you convert back to stock type lights?

There are seperate fuses for high and low beam. Also most of them have entirely seperate circuits for right and left headlight.

just for info, high wattage hid bulbs (w/o conversion) damaged my headlight combination switch, and it cost a lot and the replacement part is hard to find.
