here is my theory on rim size for compact cars.

14's -economy
15's - all season/ sporty
16's - sporty
17's - show and go
18's - show
19+ - baller status.

choose wisely.

Remember this is based on his opinion also.
=======Wheel/Tire FAQ======= (updated 4/20/08)
https://www.hondacivicforum.com/foru...ad.php?t=58727

15's: Expect near-stock ride quality. Also, they are usually the lightest wheels.
16's: Expect decent ride quality. They are usually lightweight, but not as light as 15's.
17's: Expect bad ride quality. They can be lightweight, but don't expect anything much lighter than 17lbs each. Also, 17's are usually the largest wheels that will fit a lowered civic without rubbing issues
18's or bigger: Expect even worse ride quality. They are usually heavy and will most likely lead to rubbing issues if you should choose to lower your car.

I agree with this
Although, I think a better description for 15's would be "racer" or "performance" because pretty much any serious auto-x'er/track racer/drag car i've seen, as far as Hondas go, has had 15" rims on it. They seem to be the performance size of choice.

i suppose i could have put in ride quality also.

everything related to wheels other than ride quality is strictly opinion.

i had trouble with 15's because i myself run them when i ran autocross. now they are my winter set with blizzaks

as a general rule, the larger the size wheel over stock will ride progressively rougher than the smaller size....
