Default Roof Rack and Storage Box for '07 Civic?

I'm looking to buy a quality, but affordable, roof rack and storage box for my 2007 Civic EX 4-door.

I need it for work, to carry a bunch of small boxes (of light bulbs) on a daily basis.

I'm hoping to spend <$500, but since I have no clue about these products I'm not sure if that will get me good gear.

For the rack, I plan to get a kayak(s) during the next year so I'd want something durable and versatile enough to put a kayak rack hookup on it next summer, but would primarily be using it to carry my storage box for work on a daily basis and for camping trips, etc.

For the box, I would like to max out the amount of storage I can carry without putting on a gigantic and awkward box on my car that would be unnecessary drag on the car and be an eye sore.

Any suggestions?

Basically, it's either Yakmia or Thule. I've got a standard round bar yakima setup on my other car and like it. Its a lot more solid than any of those aero bars and can fit all sorts of attachments including the kayak holder. Buy on amazon and it's like half the price of local sports stores.

For the box you can probably find a half width cargo box, or consider getting a LoadWarrior and using a waterproof cargo bag.
