rpm guage

Default rpm guage

is it possible to wire in a universal rpm guage to a 93 civic that has never had one in it, the motor is a d16 i dono if that makes a differance

You can get the rpm signal from the blue wire leading from the igniter unit in the distributor. You could tap into the blue wire at the right side engine compartment (test tach connector) or at the gauge assembly connector (connector B, terminal 8) (see link in my signature for Civic 92-95 manual).

I believe that you can also simply replace your current gauge assembly with a compatible one having tach.

yea just buy a cluster with a tach in it
its plug and play
u can get one on ebay
