Default Seat belt information

Hello all

The drivers seat belt catch has failed in my 1999/2000 Civic 1.4. I have sourced a replacement part.
Problem is: I'm self isolating 300 miles from home, so I'm having to send instructions to my daughter, who will do the swap, using my tools.
I'm sure it's pretty straightforward, but I'd like to ask members for some information, please.

1: Does the seat need to come out, or can the catch be replaced with the seat in position?
2: If the seat has to come out - does anyone know the size of the bolts and how many?

I realise that this is pretty basic stuff, but she's no mechanic so I want to be able to give her a full and clear description of the job.
Thanks in advance.
Hope you are all staying safe and well.
Bush

...just to add.
From the photos she's sent, I'm gathering it's the simple version, with no electrics.
There is no seat belt warning light on the dash.

Thanks
