Hey everyone, I frequent this forum often, but this is my first post. I got bored at work a few days ago and decided to toss some LEDs in my side mirrors. It’s kinda like the BMWs that have it in the door handles. I think it looks great, but tell me what you think. You can only see the LEDs themselves from the front, and a little to the side, other wise they are hidden from view. They turn on anytime you open the doors or unlock the car. It took a few hours and cost about 25 bucks. Easy install, if anyone wants to know the procedure I will make a write up for everyone. Latez,

BTW the LEDs are white, not blue.

That is pretty badass! I think you should do a write up, even though it would be pretty easy to figure out. That is a good way to start out on the forums bro.

 

they look great, pretty sick with them just turning on with the doors being open, sparks some ideas for my own car i say do a write up, and welcome to (posting on) HCF

 

That looks pretty sweet, when do they go on? When you open your doors and you put your inside lights on?

Thanks for the feedback. I will post a write up and take some pics in the day. The lights go on anytime you open a door or unlock the car from the remote. I also put a switch in the car that is hooked to the dome light, and when the dome light goes on so does the mirror lights. Its pretty cool when your driving down the street and hit the dome light and those mirror lights go on, people really look!

Ok I am going to have to take some pics of the install. I got about 1/4 the way through writing it up and its like 2 pages longs. LOL a picture is worth a thousand words. Give me a few days and ill have a nice Sticky for eveyone.
