I'll be brief.

My kid wrecked his 2000 Civic SI. I was told by the bodyshop that the SI and regular civic do not share the same front end part. Hood, fender, etc.....

Is this true?

 

i think the only real difference is the grille. and even then its just the styling and any 99-00 civic grill will work. and also if the car has the si lip on the bumper, then that will have to be added on, cuz the si is the only one that had the lip.

but the headlights, hood, bumper, fenders, and radiator support are all the exact same parts as all 99-00 civics, but everything is different between the 99-00 and 96-98, so make sure you get parts for the 99-00.
