Default Speedometer is off

After switching clusters (EX cluster for a DX cluster), I also switched odometers. I popped the speedo needle off to deal with the odometers. After putting it back on, the speedometer is 10 mph too fast. What's the best way to fix it relatively accurately?

From what I gathered once you pop the needles off any gauge it's screwed.

Crap. How are people swapping odometers without taking off the needles?

Lol yeah i did that too......didnt know you can just slide the plastic piece AROUND the needles. Best way i say is by trial and error, and try not to break the needles
