Default Spoiler with LED light.

So I got my spoiler and it has an led light. The instructions werent very good.. Am I suppose to drill a 1/8 hole in the trunkright where the wire is? Will there be problems with leaking? Im geussing thats what the sponge stuff is for but something doesnt seem right. The instructions didnt mention anything about how to install that part.

ya simply drill a hole.... run the wire thru the foam or what ever it came with and wire the wires up...
IF IN DOUBT about the foam material that came with it then use some clear silicone....... around the wires and the mounting holes..... just added security from leaking...

Alright thanks. I have a question though. My spoiler I bought from myspoiler.com is made of abs plastic. Is that really ok for a spoiler? Someone here told me it would be fine but It seems alot of other people have metel spoilers... It said it wasa factory style spoiler are the factory style spoilers made of abs plastic?

Others are made of aluminum. IMO ABS plastic is better.

It is strong enough to just sit there on the back of your car, it doesn't have to hold anything up. The lighter the better.

dito.......... and like any wing.... dont be pulling on it! or using it to close the trunk either!!!!!! youll end up busting the wing or the mounting points..... or even bending your trunk lid around the wings mounting points..... next grab the wing to lift the lid openor slam it closed......
