how to connect a led brake light on spoiler

how is an led brake light connected on a spolier, is it connected to the brake light inside the car or ran str8 to the batery, im having the body shop put on the spoler but they dont do electrical work, so i dunno if their going to connect it, and which hole does the wire from the spoiler go thorugh?

you gonna have to tap into ur rear brake lights wiring and wire it up that way. you run it to the battery, it will always be on. look for wiring hanging down on the drivers side of the trunk. You only need 2 wires one is ground, the other is power, as ur rear spoiler doesnt have dims.

thanks, but how should i run the wire through my trunk, do i get thenm 2 drill a hole?

Correct me if im wrong but the wires should fit into a slot or feed through a hole in the actual spoiler, then you might need to make a small hole and fill it up with some filler. i would try and put the hole pretty close to the spoiler so that the wires are not noticible . i dont know too much about spoilers because i havent ever really been interested in them.
